For Keeps by Veronica Lynch my review
Review Courtesy of April Hollingworth
Okay so where do I begin... Both Megan and Keenan have high-stress demanding jobs that have them on call, so even though they love each other, their relationship is strained due to lack of seeing one another. I found this book quite intriguing, you have to very compatible characters who both love their work and one another, yet what brought them together could easily tear them apart. Then you have Megan's job and the underlines of strain, all of which build to a question for Megan, "What will she do?" All in all this is a wonderful short read that leaves you thinking long after you finish reading it.
The Review:
Meghan Muldoon is at a crossroads: struggling to balance the demands of a high stress vocation as an advocate for victims of violence and her feelings for Keenan Rossi, a man who wants to make their relationship permanent. On Valentine's Day, a series of routine crises force Meg to question staying in a profession which fulfills her both professionally and spiritually--or devoting the rest of her life to the one person who completes her.
