Sweet Kiss by Judy Ann Davis my review
Review Courtesy of April Hollingworth
This was a very sweet novella. You have two people you badly want to see get back together, because they're just perfect for each other. Humor, a little mystery and add in some delicious recipes and you get this wonderful story. I found myself drawn into not only the characters but the town itself. I could easily imagine myself walking down the street and going into each and every place that was mentioned. A beautiful and a must read story.
The Review:
Kate Clark is a hard-working coffee shop owner. Life is good, her business is thriving and is the local hang-out for the students and community. The only thing that could make things better is if she could buy out her sister's share of the old Florida home they inherited. Violet however, is in desperate need of cash and has other plans. When Tappe Vanderberg, Kate’s childhood friend and high school sweetheart, sold his lucrative internet security business to return to Little Heron Shores to fulfill his dreams of owning a marina, he never expected to make with single women all over town—including loony, post mistress Eva May Poole who’s in search of husband number three. The only woman Tappe is interested in however is Kate. Can he find a way to shake the dingbat post mistress and convince Kate to give him a second chance and the sweet kiss he remembers from an earlier time?
