Secret Admirer by Ally Hayes my review
Review Courtesy of April Hollingworth
This is a short and sweet book that will keep you reading until finally with a happy smile you finish it. The story is told from Andi's point of view and so you see and feel how a chance meeting, candy hearts and flirty texts affect her. I'd started this book late at night but had to stop reading for sleep, was seriously not impressed by that. Rushed home on my dinner break to find out what was happening next and finished this wonderful story.
It was funny how while reading it, it brought back memories of when I was a kid and bought Candy Heart sweets, and of how like Andi in the story I used to look for certain hearts with sayings. I'd advise adding this feel good story to your reading list for you won't want to miss it.
The Review:
A new start in a new town brings a fresh look in the dating department for Andi. She's attracted to the man she see's each morning, but begins to flirt text with Garrett, a friend of a co-workers who she's never even met. After numerous failed attempts to introduce herself to Cute Coffee Shop Guy or meet face to face with Garrett, and with Valentine's Day looming closer she gives into the sugar rush of Candy Hearts, and when 'Secret Admirer' keeps popping up, she decides to take it as a sign to decide which guy is her real Secret Admirer.
