Thank you Laura Strickland for your fabulous review on Be Mine

This is a short and very sweet story of a girl learning to embrace her autonomy after experiencing a cataclysmic life event. Beth attends self-defense classes and works as a waitress along with her good friend, Sally. Beth’s had a crush on Sally’s brother, Mark, since she was five. But now Mark’s back from a stint in the army and his fellow soldier Jonathan has persuaded him to help out at the self-defense classes. Sparks ignite between Beth and Mark. But will she be able to put her past behind her? And will Mark’s support be what Beth needs to help her embrace her strength as a woman?

Though the attraction is palpable in this story, the physicality doesn’t proceed beyond kissing. If you like your stories clean and satisfying, this is for you.
