In the Air Tonight by Lori Handeland my review
Review Courtesy of April Hollingworth This is the first book in the Sisters of the Craft Trilogy. The blurb for this book intrigued me and the first sentence had me hooked. While reading it you feel as if you’re living the story, seeing everything that is happening in this spectacular first book in what promises to be an astoundingly brilliant trilogy. Be prepared to fall in love and be desperate for the next two books in The Sisters of the Craft Trilogy. I adored it! The Review: Four Centuries ago, in a small Scottish village, three baby girls escape the wrath of a witch hunter. Today, one young woman will learn about her secret history, her heart’s destiny, and the sisters she never knew she had… Raye Larsen has never felt like she fits in with the Scandinavian community of New Bergin. With her blue-black hair and dark eyes, and knowing she was adopted, is only part of the reason she doesn’t fit in. The main reason is a little more startling, she sees dead people. Everywhere. She’s learnt to keep her visions to herself, until she stumbles over a murder victim in need of her help. Bobby Doucet is a homicide detective, and he’s been tracking a killer from New Orleans. With Raye’s help, he believes he’s found the break in his case he’s been looking for. But the more Raye becomes involved with the distractingly handsome detective and his case, the closer she comes to unlocking the mystery of her own origins. A discovery that could destroy everything she knows and loves. Is finding the truth worth the consequences?
